Last week, Exergy had the pleasure of showcasing our X-Lab to students from Centennial High School in partnership with Suncor. Students were able to see first-hand how Exergy Solutions works collaboratively with clients to design, build and test components that increase productivity and decrease the carbon intensity of operations. After seeing additive manufacturing/3D printing in action and how it expedites projects allowing them to be commercialized quickly, students participated in a “bracket challenge”. Students designed and 3D printed a bracket so that their prototypes could be tested. It was a lot of fun, and we hope the experience inspired these young minds to continue the innovative work that is happening in the energy industry.
