AMIC has a highly skilled team of professionals and state-of-the-art facilities dedicated to metal additive manufacturing research and development. Equipped with cutting-edge 3D printers, advanced materials, and comprehensive testing capabilities, AMIC serves as a resource for Canadian businesses, entrepreneurs, students, and researchers seeking to harness the full potential of additive manufacturing. In expanding their efforts, the Additive Manufacturing Innovation Centre has a variety of 3D printing technologies, including but not limited to: Powder Bed Fusion (selective laser melting (SLM) and electron microscope to characterize materials, advanced material extrusion systems that utilize filament-based additive manufacturing, Vat Photopolymerization (SLA and DLP) and Post-processing and finishing technology. The AMIC also enables their partners to take advantage of design and simulation tools and collaborate with experts in the field to ensure the highest quality work. 

In addition to their additive manufacturing capabilities, AMIC offers training and educational programs to industry professionals, and students. They provide hands-on workshops, courses, and certifications to enhance the understanding and application of additive manufacturing technologies.
