New Team Member, Nicole Rathie

We would like to welcome Nicole Rathie to the Canada Makes team, as our new Manager of Community Relations, Nicole brings a passion for building community and promoting innovative technology adoption. Coming from a commerce and sustainability background, she is excited to bring engaging and exciting programs to the members of Canada Makes. From efficiency programs to ocean-tech to e-bike manufacturing, Nicole has a range of experience that she is excited to apply to this role!

 As the new Manager of Community Relations, Nicole will be responsible for providing ongoing support for members, building programming, organizing, and hosting events and the overall growth of the organization. She says herself that she “works with people, for people” which best captures her passion for communication and community. Before joining Canada Makes, Nicole has gained experience aiding the adoption of energy efficient products for residential homes, built a mentorship program connecting students in STEM with industry professionals and led the marketing division at an electric bike company. She has a diverse range of skills that has equipped her to develop and engage with the Canada Makes ecosystem.
